What has my attention right now.

Most of my energy goes into Parafoil, the leadership intelligence product we're building at Applied Humanity Inc. It turns everyday work into private feedback for leaders and anonymized insight for their organizations. It's the most ambitious thing I've built, and the closest to why I started building at all: the kind of feedback only executives used to get, made available to every manager.

Weekends are for shipping small things end to end. This year that's been Tonal Film (famous photographs and film stocks, recreated as data), Songsheets (the stories behind the music) and Stacker (newsletters delivered to your Kindle), with a GPS-triggered audio walking tour app in iOS beta.

This site is new too, rebuilt from scratch this summer. The lines in the background are a canopy you can fly: sweep your cursor, or just scroll on your phone, and it lifts.

Away from a keyboard I'm usually behind a camera, chasing light, form and moment. Los Angeles is home.

This is a now page. If you keep one, I'd love to see it: say hi.
